#SUNDAYSHARE

Our founder Emma Aders finds some of her greatest solace from music and singing. She has been posting singing video’s to @ESE’s instagram for a while now and the community seems to appreciate them, so this inspired the idea of an initiative called #SUNDAYSHARE in which @endthesilentepidemic community members are encouraged to use their voice (speaking, reading a poem, creating a work of art, singing, etc.) to help put an end to the silence and the stigma surrounding youth mental illness and youth suicide once and for all! You can submit your #SUNDAYSHARE via email or via DM at anytime (click on icons at bottom of page), and before you know it, it might just be your video below this text and all over our social media!

@thecalibrationconsultant: “You are not alone”

This week's brave speaker: Zack Peckinpah aka @thecallibrationconsultant using his voice to help end the silence and stigma around youth mental illness and youth suicide once and for all! You are a light Zack, and we are blessed and so grateful for your #SUNDAYSHARE!

@eaders: I’M not your victim: nstead I’ll pray for your peace & that your soul heals

This post is particularly special to me because this song, Praying by Keisha has lyrics that feel as if I could have written them myself. There is someone out there from my life whose actions “only God can forgive” and I pray that his “soul is changing.”

I hope this share helps those with a similar #trauma background or anyone with #mentalhealthstruggles by providing with a glimmer of #hope that there is #lightattheendofthetunnel
